在15日播出的Naver網路直播節目《Run BTS》中，BTS和The Born Korea代表白鍾元正在製作泡菜。字幕上出現了「泡菜」，引起韓網友的不滿，原因是因為先前中國媒體因引發「泡菜宗主國」爭議而遭到批評，中國官方媒體也表明立場稱：『韓式泡菜（Kimchi）』和『中式泡菜（Paocai）』是完全不同的食物。去年11月，泡菜被國際標準化組織（ISO）批准時，聲稱中國是泡菜的原產地。引發了韓國網友的爭論與不滿。節目《Run BTS》播出後，網友們指出：「在世界著名歌手防彈少年團為主角的內容中，「kimchi」翻譯成泡菜是錯誤的。網路外交使團 VANK 表示：「該影片現在是世界上的一個大話題，觀看次數超過 460 萬次。如果不加以控制，全球近 1 億韓流粉絲可能會將泡菜誤認為是中國菜。」 VANK 要求 Naver 將翻譯更改為「Shinchi辛奇」，即農業、食品和農村事務部製定的泡菜的中文單詞，或修改泡菜的專有名稱。 Naver表示會參考了文化體育旅遊部和農林部的外文翻譯指南進行翻譯，對於此次爭議，國立韓國語學院詢問了標註方法，並表示會在必要時更改字幕。
