A2O LITE, the new nine-member girl group formed by SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo-man (이수만), garnered significant anticipation before its debut, marking Lee's return to K-pop after a three-year hiatus. However, the group has barely debuted, and 13-year-old member AIJING (盛艾敬) is already embroiled in back-to-back controversies. First, her mother was recently accused of owing employee wages during her company's operation, leading to court-ordered enforcement. This prompted some netizens to label AIJING the “daughter of a defaulter.” Now, AIJING's actions during a photoshoot have sparked new debate, once again making her the center of public attention.
Recently, a video and several photos circulated online showing A2O LITE taking group pictures before a music show recording. As the members lined up to pose for the camera, AIJING's actions caught netizens' attention. She appeared to extend her arm, seemingly blocking her teammate AYUNE, who was standing beside her, and was even accused of pushing her.
The footage shows AIJING seemingly extending both arms while posing, partially obscuring AYUNE. In response, some netizens commented that each member's position is crucial during group photoshoots, especially in limited spaces. They argued that members should be considerate of their teammates and not let their actions affect others' visibility in the frame.
Other netizens pointed out that AIJING could have simply extended her left arm to pose, avoiding any impact on AYUNE's position. Instead, she chose to stretch both arms, compressing her teammate's space. The circulating footage quickly drew significant criticism.
Beyond blocking her teammate, some netizens further questioned whether AIJING intentionally pushed AYUNE during the photoshoot, arguing that her actions lacked consideration for her teammate. Some even suspected she made these moves to make herself more prominent in the group photo.
One netizen directly stated, “Pushing and blocking others just to make yourself more prominent is really not good.” Others believed that even small gestures during a photoshoot should consider other members' feelings. As the discussion continues to escalate, AIJING's actions are once again under public scrutiny.
However, the circulating video does not definitively prove AIJING's actual intentions at the time, nor can her character or personality be judged based on just a few seconds of footage. Whether this incident was merely an unintentional movement during the photoshoot or truly a lack of consideration for her teammates remains a topic of ongoing debate online, drawing both positive and negative reactions.
