日前，網路上流傳了一張AB6IX成員金東賢疑似與女友的合影照，被網友們狂分享且引起了討論。
雖然男子只有背面，但網友們比對男子穿著後，認為該男子就是AB6IX成員金東賢，且時間是在粉絲見面會之後。
當時不少網友們吵著認為和粉絲見面後，當街抱女友的行為很不適合，因此相當不滿金東賢的行為。
但也有粉絲認為只是談戀愛，況且偶像沒有女友很也奇怪，大家吵得沸沸揚揚。
6月7日，經紀公司Brand New Music解釋說：「該女友是金東賢的家鄉朋友之一。且當天還有其他的友人，並非單獨見面。」
「金東賢在公司聚餐後與家鄉朋友見面。他和他們一起出去玩後回家時被拍到，隨後金東賢送朋友後坐計程車回家。」
官方回應之後，更有網友討論到：「還不如不要澄清，感覺越抹越黑。」
