Today (13th), the mother of the late ASTRO member Moon Bin (1998~2023) expressed her gratitude to the fans through ASTRO's management company, Fantagio. In a fan community post, she stated, 'Despite the distance, I am deeply thankful for the fans who personally came and for your letters, bouquets, and the heartfelt support. They have brought me great solace.'

Moon Bin's mother further expressed, 'I understand that everyone is reminiscing and missing my son, but I have come across some irresponsible rumours on certain niche online communities.' She disclosed, 'These rumours make it very challenging for me as a mother to face.'"

Furthermore, Moon Bin's mother further expressed, 'I am worried that these baseless rumours will cause harm to many individuals, including the dedicated fans who genuinely cherish the memory of our son.' Moon Bin's mother emphasised, 'I hope that my son will not be subjected to idle gossip, and I earnestly urge everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information and rumours.'

Moon Bin debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016, where he took on the roles of main dancer and sub-vocalist in the group. He actively participated in idol activities, promoting songs like 'After Midnight' and 'Breathless.' In addition, since 2020, Moon Bin formed a sub-unit with his fellow member Yoon Sanha, sharing various musical works and engaging in variety shows and acting endeavors to showcase their talents to the fans. However, tragically, Moon Bin passed away on April 19th this year at the age of 26.
