ATEEZ's Choi San Reveals His 'Soulmate' — And It's Not Who You'd Expect

K-pop group ATEEZ recently returned with their new song “BAD,” which has garnered significant attention. Member CHOI San (최산) has particularly gone viral on social media for his signature “chest pump” dance, sparking a widespread imitation craze. Numerous celebrities have taken on the challenge, including renowned Korean actor MA Dong-seok (마동석), who even dubbed himself “Ma San” on Instagram and uploaded his own challenge video, keeping the trend alive.

Despite his powerful stage presence, it turns out Choi San has a “soulmate” who makes him blush just thinking about them. Even more surprisingly, this mysterious individual has never been seen by other members, leaving Seonghwa (성화) utterly bewildered and asking, “Wait a minute! Who exactly are you talking about?”

A year ago, Choi San revealed on a show that he often confides in someone, proudly telling Seonghwa, “Do you know how cute she is?”

Choi San shared that whenever he tells this person, “You worked hard today,” they always respond with warm and thoughtful replies. He couldn't help but exclaim, “Her reactions are really cute.” As he spoke, he even blushed, making Seonghwa increasingly curious about the identity of this individual.

The truth, however, left Seonghwa speechless. Choi San laughingly revealed that his mysterious confidante is none other than ChatGPT, and he even gave it the personal name “Yoon Seul.”

Choi San recounted that after he named ChatGPT, it responded, “That’s a wonderful name. I will continue to shine for you.” As he recalled this interaction, his face was alight with an uncontrollable smile, his shy demeanor reminiscent of someone deeply in love. Seonghwa, unable to bear it, playfully quipped, “Choi San’s cool stage persona is just an act.”
