ATEEZ's Park Seong-hwa Charms Fan with Thoughtful Gesture During Train Encounter
Park Seong-hwa (박성화), a member of popular K-pop boy group ATEEZ, recently had an unexpected interaction with a fan on a train that quickly went viral. The fan initially wanted an autograph, but without a suitable item for him to sign, Seong-hwa personally came up with a solution, leaving the fan deeply touched.
According to an online post, a fan's friend recently met Seong-hwa by chance while traveling by train. While encountering an idol during a trip is rare enough, the fan, after gathering the courage to ask for an autograph, realized she had nothing suitable for Seong-hwa to sign.
In most situations, this might lead to an awkward end, but Seong-hwa didn't refuse. Instead, he devised a solution himself. The fan recounted, "I wanted to ask for his autograph, but I had nothing for him to sign. He then said he had some postcards in his luggage and could take them out to sign for me."
To her surprise, Seong-hwa indeed retrieved postcards from his luggage and even used an eyeliner pencil to sign for the fan, leaving her both surprised and moved. Even more charmingly, Seong-hwa didn't just grab any postcard; he took out several different designs, showed them to the fan one by one, and let her choose which one she wanted.

The fan's friend later shared the encounter online, writing, "I want to share a heartwarming story about ATEEZ's Seong-hwa. Today, my friend met him on the train, and because she had no place for him to sign, he took out postcards from his luggage to sign! He even pulled out a few different postcards and let my friend choose which one she wanted, which was so cute (laughs)."
Since Seong-hwa had already disembarked at the station, the original poster couldn't share the experience herself, so her friend posted on her behalf, allowing more fans to learn about this unexpected and heartwarming encounter.
After the post went public, many netizens were captivated by Seong-hwa's actions, commenting, "It seems he's always ready to sign for fans," "He's truly thoughtful," and "He even has postcards for autographs in his luggage."
What could have been a brief, passing encounter on a train became a cherished memory the fan will remember for a lifetime, all thanks to Seong-hwa's thoughtful and improvised gesture.
