BOYNEXTDOOR's youngest member, Woonhak (운학), has recently become a hot topic on Korean online forums due to an old video. The clip shows him accidentally colliding with a dancer during a past stage performance. To apologize, he bought ice cream for the dancers, but what started as a warm gesture unexpectedly turned into an "internal group review session."

Reportedly, Woonhak not only bought ice cream for the dancers but also for his fellow members. However, after making the purchase, he realized there were other staff members present and ended up sharing the ice cream originally intended for his groupmates with the staff instead.
Unexpectedly, when the older members discovered this, they mistakenly believed Woonhak hadn't bought any for them at all. They began to question him, asking why he "only treated the dancers to ice cream." Despite Woonhak explaining that he had bought some but later shared it with staff, they continued to accuse him of lying.

Among them, leader Myung Jae-hyun (명재현) repeatedly pressed Woonhak, even demanding an explanation for why he prioritized buying ice cream for the dancers. Woonhak eventually apologized, but Myung Jae-hyun responded, "Don't say you're sorry if you don't feel sorry." Under this pressure, Woonhak reluctantly changed his statement, saying, "I don't feel sorry." What was originally an apology for an accidental collision quickly turned into an awkward situation over a box of ice cream.

The relevant clip recently resurfaced on the Korean online forum theqoo, sparking widespread discussion with over 1,000 comments. Many netizens expressed confusion over the members' reactions, believing that Woonhak was simply being considerate to the dancers and staff, only to be interrogated by his older groupmates.
Numerous comments included: "They could have just bought their own ice cream; the youngest member did a great job taking care of the dancers," "What's there to criticize? He should be praised," and "Why talk to the youngest member like that?" Some even directly stated, "The hierarchy in this group is very strict."
Other netizens felt that, judging by the tone of voice and atmosphere in the video, it didn't seem like simple joking between close brothers. "I initially thought it was just playful teasing because they're close, but after watching it, it didn't feel like a joke at all," one user wrote, adding, "It's like seeing a boss bullying a new employee at work."
Some even dug up past clips of other BOYNEXTDOOR members interacting with Woonhak, questioning if this wasn't the first time such a situation had occurred. "BOYNEXTDOOR has bullied the youngest member many times; I still can't get used to it," one comment read. "If it's like this on camera, I can't imagine what it's like off-camera."
Netizens also posed a rhetorical question: if a typical group saw their youngest member proactively taking care of dancers, they would usually praise them, saying, "Our [member's name] has grown up, even taking care of the staff." However, BOYNEXTDOOR's situation escalated into an argument because they didn't get ice cream, leading many to exclaim, "A heartwarming story ended this way."

As the discussion intensified, some netizens even described the atmosphere as "like a gathering of delinquents," feeling that Woonhak, who appeared very kind, seemed particularly wronged in the argument. The incident has once again brought the interaction dynamics among BOYNEXTDOOR members into the spotlight on Korean online forums.
