BTOB in contract renewal talks with Cube but unable to reach an agreement?
The male group BTOB, which debuted in 2012, not only has strong singing and stage performance skills, but the members also excel in various fields. From variety shows to dramas and even every new song, they always become a topic of discussion.

However, BTOB, who is about to enter their 12th year since debut, has successfully renewed their contract once. But on the 1st, it has been reported that the group's contract renewal has been left unsettled, and there are even rumors that a member is about to leave, once again becoming a topic of conversation.
According to reports by Korean media, BTOB and CUBE Entertainment (have not yet reached a consensus in their second contract renewal agreement. In addition, the contracts of 5 out of the 6 current members have expired. However, the members of BTOB's next steps remain unknown.

It is reported that since there is a high possibility that the current members may join other management companies, and are even in contact with several agencies, the CUBE management has also decided to conduct final negotiations with the members.
In addition, industry insiders have revealed that even if BTOB members want to sign with different agencies, they still want to maintain group activities. There's even news that they have proposed a group contract fee of 60 billion won to the companies they are in contact with.

In response, Cube Entertainment said, "The contract renewal period with some members of BTOB has not ended, and we will do our best till the last moment. To our knowledge, BTOB members are open to various developments." They also refuted the rumored news of a 60 billion signing fee.
After the news broke, netizens immediately started a discussion. Many of them said, "It won't be bad if BTOB as a group signs with another company," and "but if BTOB all leaves, there won't be anyone left in CUBE." Some even confessed, "I really don't like CUBE, I hope they can leave together." Some fans even hoped that the group could leave their original company and pleaded, "Please escape quickly, away from CUBE," and "BTOB was worth well over 60 billion won, okay?" The discussion was very heated.
