RM keeps his birthday promise by donating 100 million Won to the Forensic Science Society!

On the 28th of last month, the Korean Forensic Science Society revealed that BTS member RM donated 100 million Won to the society, with the aim of promoting the development of forensic science.

RM himself also expressed through the Korean Forensic Medicine Association, "I've heard that the process to become a forensic scholar is quite difficult, and I can sense the importance of forensic medicine. I deeply respect those friends who have embarked on the path of forensic science due to their sense of mission. I hope that my donation can provide a bit of help for the cultivation and support of forensic scholars, and the development of the Forensic Medicine Association."

RM has always been praised for donating on his birthday, usually to cultural and artistic related organizations. However, his donation to the Forensic Sciences Association this time is due to his acquaintance with forensic scientist Professor Lee Ho, whom he met on a tvN variety show.

Professor Sim, an astronomer who appeared on the same variety show, also posted the news of RM's donation on her own IG, and wrote down the behind-the-scenes story of the donation.

Professor Sim said, "During the break in the filming of the variery show, RM continued the previous discussion with Professor Lee, and then RM made a promise at that time. You could really tell from his eyes, expression, and attitude that he wasn't just saying it."

According to the Korean Forensic Society, RM's donation this time will be used for talent development, academic research, and improving the forensic system, etc.
