South Korean boy group Stray Kids and girl group KISS OF LIFE recently launched their summer comebacks simultaneously, leading to frequent encounters on music programs. A recent interaction between Stray Kids member Seo Chang-bin (서창빈) and KISS OF LIFE's Natty (나띠) on a show unexpectedly revealed their close relationship, leaving fans exclaiming, "They're actually this close?"
Stray Kids recently released their new song "This & That," while KISS OF LIFE returned with "Sweat." Both groups appeared on the Korean music program Music Bank, where a brief interaction between the two members unexpectedly generated buzz.
During the broadcast, Seo Chang-bin appeared to say something to Natty, who then immediately frowned and playfully made a motion as if to hit him. Their interaction was remarkably natural. Seo Chang-bin, unfazed, looked as if he was completely used to such teasing, making the entire scene resemble two long-time friends bickering.
This brief exchange was quickly captured by fans, who were most curious about, "What exactly did Seo Chang-bin say to Natty to make her want to hit him?" Some fans also joked that the two didn't look like they were interacting for the first time. "They're super close, this is too funny," one fan commented, while another asked, "Are they really such close friends?"
What made fans even more curious was that Seo Chang-bin and Natty's friendship seemed to have been kept very low-key. Even many long-time fans of both artists hadn't previously noticed their private relationship.
However, there is a possible common link between them: JYP Entertainment.
Natty was previously a trainee under JYP Entertainment and participated in JYP's survival program SIXTEEN in 2015. Around the same time, Stray Kids members were also trainees at JYP Entertainment before officially debuting in 2018.
Therefore, while it's currently unconfirmed when or how Seo Chang-bin and Natty became friends, their shared past as JYP trainees could be the connection that led to their acquaintance.
After the clip went viral on X (formerly Twitter), fans quickly turned into "lip-reading experts," attempting to decipher what Seo Chang-bin said to Natty that prompted her playful "want to hit him" reaction. Some even called out, "Does anyone know lip-reading? Please interpret this!"
