Lee Nak-jun (이낙준), author of the original novel for the popular Netflix series 'Trauma Center,' recently discussed the progress of Season 2 and even hinted at potential casting for his next project, sparking considerable discussion.
On the April 24 broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Malja Show,' which featured the theme 'The World of Professions,' Lee Nak-jun participated as a viewer.
Lee, a former ENT specialist, writes web novels under the pen name 'Hansaniga' (한산이가) and is also a YouTuber with approximately 1.42 million subscribers. During the program, he introduced himself as "a writer who has been penning web novels under the pen name Hansaniga for 10 years now."

Regarding the production progress of 'Trauma Center' Season 2, Lee revealed that they are currently scouting filming locations and stated, "Filming should begin around October this year." This news has heightened anticipation among fans for the sequel.

As the conversation naturally shifted to actor casting, the atmosphere grew more lively. A viewer suddenly called out, hoping for "Kim Seon-ho (김선호) to be cast." Lee laughed and responded, "I also like actor Kim Seon-ho, but his age doesn't quite fit." He further explained, "The character in the work is set to be a younger person."

However, Lee immediately revealed his personal preferences, stating that he "personally really likes actors Lee Do-hyun (이도현) and Song Kang (송강)," unexpectedly bringing both names into the spotlight.
It is important to note that Lee Do-hyun and Song Kang are not confirmed to appear in any related projects. This was merely the original author sharing his personal favorite actors on the show and does not indicate that actual casting has been finalized.
The Netflix series 'Trauma Center' is adapted from Lee Nak-jun's web novel of the same name. The story follows Baek Kang-hyuk (Joo Ji-hoon 주지훈), a brilliant surgeon who once worked on battlefields. He takes on a position at a struggling university hospital to revitalize its critical trauma team, leading to a series of events.
The series has been praised by viewers for its intense medical drama, strong character appeal, and fast-paced narrative. With Season 2 now entering the filming stage, fans are eagerly anticipating the next chapter of the story and the casting of new characters.
