Will all members of EXO leave SM by next year?
EXO, who debuted 11 years ago, has already amassed considerable popularity in Asia, even being called one of the "best boy bands". However, in 2023, there have been several reports of members leaving the group.

In the beginning of June, EXO members CHEN, Baekhyun, and XIUMIN reported to SM to terminate their exclusive contracts due to reasons such as opaque settlement and excessively long contract periods.
Although the reconciliation was concluded in the end, Korean media recently reported that D.O. plans to leave SM Entertainment and set up his own company. SM responded officially to this, confirming that D.O.'s personal management contract will expire in November.
On the 23rd, rumors spread wildly across online communities that EXO may possibly leave SM next year. These rumors originated from a post in an online discussion forum. The post included the Season Greeting calendar for 2024 released by SM for its artists.

From TVXQ, SJ to the newly debuted RIIZE, all have released their calendars, but only EXO's calendar is not for sale. Although the calendars of Girls' Generation and SHINee are not released, they are marked as "coming soon".

Therefore, netizens are guessing whether this implies that all EXO members are going to leave SM and will no longer be under SM's umbrella, resulting in them not releasing the calendar, and saying, "How could there be no EXO, could it be ..."
"SM should explain why there's no EXO," "This is too obvious, how can a popular group not have a calendar for sale?" "Wait, Kai won't leave, right?" "Of course there'll be none if they're not under SM next year," and so on, such different speculations can be heard.

K-PopRumors of EXO-CBX's Leaving! SM's position unexpectedly contradicts Baekhyun's live broadcast comments!
Recently, Baekhyun held a live broadcast late at night to update his fans about his current situation, during which he mentioned that he had established his own company. This led to renewed rumors of CBX's departure. However, SM made a statement about this situation and unexpectedly found out that Baekhyun had set up his own company. In June this year, there were rumors of a contract dispute between EXO members Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin, and SM Entertainment. The three members (known as CBX) issued a statement citing settlement issues, announcing their decision to sue SM Entertainment and requesting termination of their exclusive contract. SM and CBX dramatically resolved their conflict. SM Entertainment issued a statement at the time saying that after discussions with the three members, they eliminated the misunderstandings that had arisen earlier and finally reached a mutually satisfactory agreement. They will continue with the activities of the group EXO. However, recently, popular Korean entertainment YouTuber Lee Jinho analyzed that CHEN would leave SM in September, XIUMIN in October, and Baekhyun next January. He suggested that they would transfer to a personal company established by Baekhyun, sparking further rumors of their departure from the team. On this matter, SM released an official position on the 9th, conveying the contract situation with CBX, and emphasizing that they will continue with EXO's activities. As for Baekhyun's establishment of his own company, they said they had not heard of it before and only found out through recent reports. While it is somewhat confusing, they believe both parties will abide by the agreement. Previously, after the news broke that Baekhyun had borrowed 13 billion Korean won and was registered as an internal director of the company "One Signature", there were claims that Baekhyun was trying to take an unfair advantage by getting the company listed with the loan. In response, Baekhyun explained the situation through a live stream. He also revealed that SM Entertainment was supportive of him setting up his own company. As SM's and Baekhyun's statements are completely opposite, netizens have been commenting, "Is SM betraying Baekhyun again? XD", "Huh? Didn't the company say they knew and supported him?", "Wow, Baekhyun is really amazing", "Baekhyun, just pay the penalty and leave SM, don't really want to see you", and other opinions.
