Dispatch exclusively reveal inside story of the FIFTY FIFTY's dispute!
Girl group FIFTY FIFTY filed an application to suspend their exclusive contract on the 19th of last month, accusing their management company of "not settling their earnings" and "ignoring the members' health conditions." However, Korean media outlet Dispatch has revealed a different story, stating that the team's financial settlement remained in the negative and their health conditions were not disregarded.

ATTRAKT's representative, Jeon Hong Joon, has publicly shared a conversation with The Givers' representative, Ahn Sung Il. Ahn Sung Il urged the members to film a music video, but Jeon Hong Joon defended the members, stating, "This is a health issue. Please communicate with their parents to avoid misunderstandings." However, Ahn Sung Il replied, "Aran listens to my opinions, and I will personally persuade her."

It is reported that FIFTY FIFTY was originally created by Representative Jeon Hong Joon, Representative Ahn Sung Il, and the US production company KAMP K. However, there was a disagreement between Representative Jeon Hong Joonand the KAMP K representative, and eventually an outsourcing contract was signed with Representative Ahn Sung Il.
Representative Jeon Hong Joon was responsible for raising funds, while Representative Ahn Sung Il was in charge of training. Representative Jeon Hong Joon sold his car, watch, and even added his mother's 90 million Korean won to debut FIFTY FIFTY.

FIFTY FIFTY achieved a breakthrough in April 2023 with their song "Cupid" making it onto the Billboard charts. It stayed on the HOT 100 for a record-breaking 14 weeks, making it the longest-running charting song by a K-pop girl group. Interestingly, "Cupid" was originally produced by students from a music school in Sweden, and Representative Ahn Sung Il adapted it into a K-pop style.

In January of this year, Representative Ahn Sung Il paid $9,000 to the Swedish university students to acquire the rights to the song "Cupid," obtaining a 90% ownership stake. However, Representative Ahn Sung Il did not share the profits, resulting in ATTRAKT's team settlement remaining in the negative.

Representative Jeon Hong Joon stated, "This mistake is 110% due to trusting The Givers."
The Givers' staff member, Mr. B, was responsible for managing the members and communicating with their parents. On May 2nd of this year, Aran underwent surgery, and during her recovery period, Mr. B requested some rest time for the other members from May 10th to 28th.

However, Representative Jeon suggested a one-week vacation as he had engagements in the United States for lectures and other activities. Mr. B assured that he would communicate with the members and their parents, and ultimately, they reached a consensus to resume activities on the 25th.
Representative Jeon also mentioned that he did not neglect the members' health, stating, "Mr. B promised to manage them well, so I trusted and handed over the responsibility to him. It seems that excessive trust has become the root of the problem."
