BIGBANG leader G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong, 권지용) has once again sparked online discussion with a 'like' on social media. Sharp-eyed netizens discovered that he liked the latest set of activity photos posted by IVE (아이브) member Jang Won-young (장원영). This isn't the first time; his repeated likes within a few months have led fans to speculate about their interactions.
Jang Won-young recently shared photos from a fashion brand event, and it wasn't long before G-Dragon's official account was spotted hitting the 'heart' button. The news quickly drew attention from fans and netizens, as this marks the second time he has liked her posts.
Back in August, Jang Won-young shared a post that G-Dragon's official account was also caught liking. Now, with a repeat of the same action, screenshots of the interaction have rapidly circulated online.
In fact, G-Dragon previously discussed his habit of liking social media posts on Epik High's YouTube channel. At the time, he explained that he doesn't have any particular purpose or intention when liking posts; he simply clicks the heart button if he sees something memorable or that he finds appealing.
He once stated: "When I'm in the car or have free time, I quickly scroll through my feed. If I see a post that leaves an impression, I naturally like it. As the recommendation algorithm keeps scrolling, sometimes things unexpectedly happen because of it, and I even make mistakes without meaning to."
However, even though G-Dragon has explained his 'liking habit' in the past, his repeated like on Jang Won-young's post has still sparked debate among some netizens, with some suggesting he should be more mindful of his actions.
Some netizens sarcastically commented, "Is he trying to pursue her?" Others directly retorted, "Please, act more maturely." One person analyzed, "Usually, people like other things too, so they wouldn't only be caught liking one person's post." Some even half-jokingly wrote, "He's really trying hard to get her, LOL."

Currently, beyond G-Dragon twice liking Jang Won-young's social media posts, there is no other public information to confirm any further relationship between the two. The related discussions largely remain speculative among netizens regarding the 'like' action.
