Controversy arises as (G)I-DLE's MINNIE and Yuqi was caught riding 'electric kickboard' in Germany

With the advancement of technology, many countries have introduced a variety of convenient and fast commuting tools. However, since these are not formal public transportations, there are still a lot of discussions about their legality and safety.

However, recently, (G)I-DLE members Yuqi and Minnie were caught by netizens riding an 'electric kickboard' together in Germany. The leaked photos sparked quite a controversy, with some netizens even demanding that celebrities should be more mindful of their actions and words in public.

The screen only showed Yuqi and MINNIE riding together on an electric skateboard, an act that seems ordinary but was pointed out by foreign fans as illegal.

A foreign fan stated, "In Germany, it's regulated that only one person can ride on a vehicle. If caught, a fine of 10 Euros would be imposed." They added, "Though it looks fun, it's actually disallowed. Even riding side by side isn't allowed and would result in a fine ranging from 15 to 30 Euros."

Many netizens have commented on the two riding together, saying things like "Actually, it's not allowed in Korea to ride two people on one, it's just hard to catch, how could they not know?", "Please show some restraint, it's embarrassing," "They're really ignorant," "They're not kids anymore, how could they still be like this?"

In fact, after the photos were leaked, they not only became a hot topic on the two biggest Korean forums, but some netizens even posted pictures of the group members accidentally falling off from their luggage at the airport in the past, indicating that such behaviour is very dangerous.

Therefore, some netizens believe that as public figures, one should be more careful about what they say and do. If they hurt themselves it might be tolerable, but potentially hurting others is really not acceptable. They commented continuously, "We really need to educate them well, otherwise they will realize once they get hurt", "Really cannot stand it anymore".
