18日播出的KBS2《年中直播》中，的《奔跑在排行榜上的女人》欄目中公開了《成爲情侶之間紅線的明星》TOP 7 名單。

排在第5位的是與歌手Gummy同屆的同期朋友英智。英智2013年通過音樂劇《Hedwig and the Angry Inch》與曹政奭有了交情，於是便將曹政奭帶到Gummy生日派對上，介紹了兩人。

英智說：「在戀愛傳聞報道的前一天，曹政奭聯繫了我」，「他說'Gummy會很累的，請守護在她身邊」,「 拍完劇回來的曹政奭用眼淚表達了他對我的感謝」，透露了幕後故事。

就這樣曹政奭和蜘蛛結束了5年的戀愛，於2018年10月結爲夫妻。當時兩人沒有舉行婚禮，而是舉行了只有家人參加的簡單儀式。
