Actress and cartoonist Seo Eun-hye (서은혜), who has Down syndrome, gained widespread recognition for her role as Lee Young-hee, the twin sister of Han Ji-min's (한지민) character, in the 2022 healing K-drama “Our Blues.” Her natural and sincere acting deeply moved countless viewers, and her warm, radiant smile left a lasting impression.
Seo Eun-hye met her husband, Cho Young-nam (조영남), who also has an intellectual disability, at a public workplace for people with disabilities. After about a year of dating, the couple married in May 2023. Their wedding was a star-studded event, with screenwriter Noh Hee-kyung (노희경) and most of the main cast of “Our Blues,” including Kim Woo-bin (김우빈), Han Ji-min, and Lee Jung-eun (이정은), attending to offer their blessings. The grand occasion resembled a mini-awards ceremony and sparked heated discussions online in Korea.
However, just about a year into their marriage, rumors of marital troubles and even divorce began circulating online, drawing significant public attention. After personally refuting the rumors in a previous post, Seo Eun-hye once again shared a sweet video of her and her husband on social media on August 3, openly showing them kissing, thereby further quashing the divorce speculation with a clear display of affection.
On her personal SNS, Seo Eun-hye wrote, “Middle-aged people don’t do this!” and posted a daily video with her husband, Cho Young-nam. In the footage, she gazes happily at her husband, affectionately calling him, “Oppa, you’re so cute!” Cho Young-nam immediately responded by kissing his wife, a natural and sweet interaction that delighted many fans.
Subsequently, Cho Young-nam jokingly suggested, “Let’s have your father-in-law and mother-in-law kiss too.” Seo Eun-hye cleverly replied, “Mom and Dad wouldn’t do that; they’re middle-aged.” This amusing exchange brought laughter to many netizens.
This video garnered particular attention as it was released amid ongoing divorce rumors, with many fans commenting, “They look truly happy,” and “I hope no one spreads false rumors anymore.”
In fact, Seo Eun-hye had already personally debunked the divorce rumors on July 31 through a community post on her YouTube channel, “Your Face, Miss Eun-hye.” She stated, “Recently, there seem to be fake news and videos circulating, claiming that my husband and I have divorced, but that is not true. We are more in love than ever and are happily working together.”
In addition to clarifying the marital rumors, she also shared updates on the couple’s recent activities, revealing that many tourists visited their co-managed cafe during the summer vacation. She also happily met and embraced actress Yang Mi-kyung (양미경) recently for a photo.
She further expressed sweetly, “Unless there’s something special, my husband and I spend almost every day at the cafe, serving customers and completing commissioned paintings. Whenever we have free time, we stick together.” This statement thoroughly shattered any rumors of marital discord.

Seo Eun-hye also simultaneously posted several photos of the couple, showing them not only in a deep embrace but also intimately linking arms, demonstrating their sweet and natural interaction, once again proving their stable relationship.
Reportedly, Seo Eun-hye and Cho Young-nam opened a cafe together after their marriage, which officially launched in March this year. Cho Young-nam manages the cafe operations, while Seo Eun-hye has set up a studio inside to continue her artwork. The couple is building their business together, enjoying their happy newlywed life.
