The audition program “Produce X 101,” which aired in 2019, ultimately formed the project boy group X1. Like other audition programs, many trainees who didn't make it into the final debut lineup still leveraged the popularity and exposure gained from the show to find their own paths.
Yoon Jeong-hwan (윤정환) from Brand New Music was one such trainee. He showcased excellent vocal, songwriting, and composing abilities on the show, ultimately ranking 38th in the eighth episode and being eliminated, thus failing to debut through the program.

The video shows a very limited audience at the event, a quiet scene that many netizens found disheartening.
