[Health Scare] IU Cancels September Goyang Concert, New Album Postponed
IU's recent health issues are impacting her scheduled plans. On July 20th, she released a heartfelt letter to fans via Berriz, explaining that due to worsening symptoms of chronic patulous Eustachian tube dysfunction, her concert originally scheduled for September at Goyang Stadium, along with related domestic tour arrangements, has been unavoidably canceled.

Recurring Ear Symptoms: Admits Difficulty Returning to Form While Singing
In her letter, IU mentioned that her ear symptoms have always been unstable, fluctuating between good and bad, but recently the situation has become more pronounced. She stated, "My ear symptoms have always been very irregular, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but recently, the symptoms have persisted for several consecutive days, from morning to night, and I've repeatedly felt that it's difficult to return to my original state when singing."
Due to the worsening symptoms, IU's concert originally planned for September at Goyang Stadium has been confirmed canceled, and the accompanying domestic tour is also affected.
6th Full-Length Album Completed, But Release Still Postponed for Several Months
IU's upcoming 6th full-length album is actually already complete. However, since the main promotion for this album was originally centered around the concert and tour, the album's release will also be postponed for several months.
She also sincerely wrote in her letter, "I'm truly sorry, I love you all very much." At the same time, she promised to deliver a diverse new album and expressed her determination to start 2027 together with her fans.
Further updates on IU's subsequent music activities and new album news are still pending.
