[IU Takes Action] Targets Malicious Threads Account! 52 Posts Called Out, Request Filed with US Court to Uncover Identity
Singer IU has once again taken legal action against malicious comments. According to reports from Dispatch, she filed a request with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on July 15th. The purpose is to obtain evidence that can be used in a civil defamation lawsuit in Korea, specifically requesting Meta to provide information about a Threads account user.

Threads Account Targeted, 52 False Posts Listed
The report indicates that IU's legal team has targeted the Threads account @7h***. This account is accused of publishing 52 false posts between March and October of last year, causing damage to IU's image and reputation.

IU's representatives stated that because the user's identity could not be confirmed, the ongoing lawsuit in Korea has been difficult to advance. Therefore, they filed a request with the US court, hoping the court would order Meta to submit information about the user.
