IVE's first world tour ticket prices for the Seoul concert spark outrage online! Netizens unanimously point at HYBE as the main culprit!
Since their debut, the popular girl group IVE has been sweeping the K-POP scene with their fiery popularity. Every time they hold a fan meeting, tickets always sell out at the speed of light. Recently, there were rumors that they were going to hold their first world tour concert in Seoul, which originally excited fans, but the release of the ticket prices angered netizens.

Recently, the management company Starship announced through IVE's official SNS that the first world tour "SHOW WHAT I HAVE" will be held from October 7th to 8th at the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.
Starship also announced that the second show in Seoul (on the 8th) will be broadcasted live on the global platform 'Beyond LIVE' for global fans who are unable to attend.

The ticket prices for the Seoul leg of the world tour have been set at 198,000 won for VIP seats and 154,000 won for regular seats. Fans have posted these ticket prices on online discussion boards, sparking a number of complaints.
Despite Starship's considerate offer of live streaming services, the expensive ticket prices have caused a wave of complaints in the online communities. Comments pour in saying, "Wow! 200,000? Are they crazy?", "Super extremely expensive", "Guess I can't go, it's too expensive", "Please control the concert prices, if it continues like this, there's really no need to go".

At the same time, some netizens pointed out that after HYBE raised the ticket prices of LE SSERAFIM, other entertainment companies also followed suit. This has led to a chorus of agreement such as "It seems like they are following HYBE", "HYBE is the main culprit",.

"It's all because HYBE raised their prices, so Starship did too. I'm really angry at HYBE right now", "HYBE is the root of all evil in the entertainment industry! Concert prices are too high", "It's like Kawamura Fried Chicken... BBQ, if one raises their prices, everyone else follows" etc.

K-PopU-Know, who has been in the industry for 20 years, gave a wake-up call to KPOP: We are not singing machines!
On the 12th, the singer and actor U-Know Yunho appeared on the OPEN INTERVIEW of NEWS A, aired by Channel A in the evening. Yunho confidently spoke in the interview. Yunho recently returned with his SOLO album "Reality Show" and new song "Vuja De". Since debuting with TVXQ in 2003, he is quietly approaching his 20th anniversary. Yunho, who has been in the industry for nearly 20 years, mentioned his feelings in an interview, "This year feels like a coming-of-age ceremony", and added, "It can't be expressed in a single sentence", revealing his inner excitement. Yunho's practice for his new song's choreography was also revealed in the interview. Yunho explained his practice regimen, "During practice, I need to memorize the entire choreography. It usually takes about 6-8 hours." Yunho then mentioned, "For me, the practice room is not a comfortable place, I feel more comfortable on stage. I am a person who is strict with myself, I will practice hard to develop myself into a habit." When asked about the current state of KPOP after 20 years of Korean Wave, Yunho said, "Just as everyone mentions K knife group dance, it has had a lot of influence. Now is the time to have a sense of responsibility for K content. Culture is developing, and it requires a stable system. We are not singing machines, are we?" Yunho started his trainee life when he was in high school, and was even jokingly called the discipline monitor. When Yunho was asked who he felt sorry for, he replied that it was his teammate Changmin. "Because he successfully passed the audition and joined the company, and debuted not long after starting practice. He looks like a prince and this probably makes me feel a bit inferior, so I once coldly told him 'If you don't practice well, you should leave quickly', but he is actually more talented than me." K-PopNewJeans' schedule of the "Scouts Big Camping K-POP Concert" shows fatigue, causing netizens to criticize the government: It's like K's compulsory military service!
The 2023 New World Jamboree Scouting event has caused considerable controversy due to poor organization by the hosting agency. In efforts to restore "Korea's reputation", the government has mandatorily drafted multiple girl groups to perform. Among them, the stage preparation of NewJeans has drawn significant interest from netizens. Recently, a series of incidents stirred up controversies at the World Scout Jamboree held in Korea, such as a large number of participants suffering from heatstroke and mosquito-related health issues. As a result, many participants withdrew from the camp, criticizing the organizers for not making proper arrangements. In order to save the national face, the government updated the lineup of the K-pop concert held on the closing day (11th) on the 9th, adding popular Korean Wave male and female groups such as NewJeans, NCT Dream, MAMAMOO, etc. Even though NewJeans was scheduled to perform the second part of the evening's show at 8 pm, they had already arrived at the venue in the morning and had conducted a dress rehearsal on stage. It was raining at that time, and they were all dancing to the song 'Hype Boy' on a small tent stage. Netizens caught a glimpse of NewJeans' rehearsal and shared it on the online community. In the photo, each member was waiting in order with name tags for the rehearsal, and Hanni seemed particularly exhausted. After seeing this, netizens expressed their heartache for NewJeans and sent their condolences, while also harshly criticizing the government. "If it's to this extent, shouldn't they be recognized as social service members?" "It's basically like enforced conscription." "It's truly pitiful and unfortunate." "Just looking at their expressions in the photos makes me feel sorry for them." Additionally, the Boy Scouts' K-POP concert began at 7 o'clock last night, featuring relay performances by 19 popular Hallyu singers over two hours, and was co-hosted by actor Gong Myung, ITZY member Yuna, and NewJeans member Hyejin. K-PopRumors of EXO-CBX's Leaving! SM's position unexpectedly contradicts Baekhyun's live broadcast comments!
Recently, Baekhyun held a live broadcast late at night to update his fans about his current situation, during which he mentioned that he had established his own company. This led to renewed rumors of CBX's departure. However, SM made a statement about this situation and unexpectedly found out that Baekhyun had set up his own company. In June this year, there were rumors of a contract dispute between EXO members Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin, and SM Entertainment. The three members (known as CBX) issued a statement citing settlement issues, announcing their decision to sue SM Entertainment and requesting termination of their exclusive contract. SM and CBX dramatically resolved their conflict. SM Entertainment issued a statement at the time saying that after discussions with the three members, they eliminated the misunderstandings that had arisen earlier and finally reached a mutually satisfactory agreement. They will continue with the activities of the group EXO. However, recently, popular Korean entertainment YouTuber Lee Jinho analyzed that CHEN would leave SM in September, XIUMIN in October, and Baekhyun next January. He suggested that they would transfer to a personal company established by Baekhyun, sparking further rumors of their departure from the team. On this matter, SM released an official position on the 9th, conveying the contract situation with CBX, and emphasizing that they will continue with EXO's activities. As for Baekhyun's establishment of his own company, they said they had not heard of it before and only found out through recent reports. While it is somewhat confusing, they believe both parties will abide by the agreement. Previously, after the news broke that Baekhyun had borrowed 13 billion Korean won and was registered as an internal director of the company "One Signature", there were claims that Baekhyun was trying to take an unfair advantage by getting the company listed with the loan. In response, Baekhyun explained the situation through a live stream. He also revealed that SM Entertainment was supportive of him setting up his own company. As SM's and Baekhyun's statements are completely opposite, netizens have been commenting, "Is SM betraying Baekhyun again? XD", "Huh? Didn't the company say they knew and supported him?", "Wow, Baekhyun is really amazing", "Baekhyun, just pay the penalty and leave SM, don't really want to see you", and other opinions.
