K-pop icon Kim Jae-joong's (김재중) detached luxury home in a wealthy Tokyo neighborhood was unveiled for the first time, but 'traces of two people living together' inside the mansion unexpectedly sparked dating rumors. From two pillows side-by-side on the bed and two pairs of slippers, to a pink toothbrush suddenly appearing in the bathroom, the show's cast couldn't help but 'investigate' Kim Jae-joong's love life, leading to his hurried explanations and a hilarious scene that garnered significant attention.

On the October 27 broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Fun-Staurant,' K-pop legend Kim Jae-joong revealed his life in Japan and his private residence in Tokyo for the first time. Kim Jae-joong shared that he has lived in the house for about three years, and the area holds special significance for him. He stated, "This is where we lived when we debuted in Japan. I was only 19 years old then."

The interior of the mysterious Tokyo mansion was then finally revealed. Kim Jae-joong mentioned he had lived there for approximately three years, deciding to purchase the house when the original owner moved overseas.

The house even featured a private elevator connecting the floors, astonishing the show's guests. The approximately 4-meter-high ceilings and spacious skylights were also eye-catching; the ceiling windows could open directly, making the entire space feel exceptionally expansive.

Despite the mansion's luxurious appearance, Kim Jae-joong's lifestyle was surprisingly frugal. The spacious kitchen featured a large island and a gas stove with five burners. Kim Jae-joong, who enjoys cooking, stated, "This is my favorite space." He even revealed chili powder he specifically brought from Korea to Japan, saying, "While promoting in Japan, I really do make my own kimchi to eat."

He explained that since kimchi sold in Japan comes in small portions and is expensive, he simply makes it himself. He doesn't even throw away leftover ingredients after cooking, instead freezing them for later. He joked, "When I return to Japan after going to Korea, I can still eat them fresh." He even re-grows leftover enoki mushrooms and onions by soaking them in water, a thrifty habit that left the show's guests wide-eyed.

However, the real 'decisive evidence' appeared in the bedroom. As the crew filmed the spacious bedroom, sharp-eyed viewers noticed two pillows arranged side-by-side on the bed. A staff member meaningfully asked, "Do you sleep alone?" Kim Jae-joong immediately looked flustered, retorting, "Who else would I sleep with?" But the suspicious items didn't stop there. Two pairs of slippers were also placed by the bed, leading the production team to cast doubtful glances again. Faced with continuous questioning, Kim Jae-joong quickly explained, "These were gifts from fans."

But the true 'decisive evidence' appeared in the bathroom — a pink toothbrush was found next to the sink! Faced with renewed suspicious looks, Kim Jae-joong immediately clarified, "This is for cleaning the sink." Boom, who was nearby, deliberately teased him, praising his "excellent improvisation," clearly not buying the explanation, which once again erupted laughter on set.

Additionally, the mansion's third floor featured an outdoor terrace with an ethanol fireplace, allowing for leisurely moments in the heart of Tokyo. However, despite his luxurious life, Kim Jae-joong unexpectedly confessed at the end, "I'm lonely." This stark contrast once again amused everyone.

From struggling to go out freely when he debuted in Japan at 19, to buying a detached mansion in the same neighborhood over 20 years later, Kim Jae-joong revealed his Tokyo life through the program. Not only did the private elevator, 4-meter-high ceilings, and openable skylights become highlights, but his thrifty habits of not wasting leftover ingredients and his sudden explanation for the 'pink toothbrush' unexpectedly became the biggest comedic moments of the show.
