Jennie (김제니), a member of the popular South Korean girl group BLACKPINK, has once again become a target of online body shaming. She recently shared glimpses of her daily life on Instagram, including photos from the gym, her home, and relaxing by the water in a black bikini. The post unexpectedly drew a wave of sarcastic comments and criticism regarding her physique, with some users even directly calling her "too flat," sparking widespread discussion.

Jennie recently posted several lifestyle photos on social media, showcasing a more natural and relaxed side of herself. Among them, a set of pictures showed her resting by the water in a black bikini. What was initially praised as a refreshing and casual look unexpectedly became a target for some netizens to criticize her body.

After the photos circulated online, some mocked her for being too slender and having a less-than-voluptuous chest. Comments included remarks like, "Too flat, really too flat," and "Aside from the missing part, she looks like an ordinary person." Others even compared her physique to that of other female celebrities, scrutinizing her body.

However, other netizens held different views, arguing that Jennie naturally has a slender build, which is part of her unique appearance. Some criticized the trend of creating overly rounded breast shapes through silicone implants, suggesting that a natural physique is more appealing. Others stated that Jennie's figure is inherently slim and there's no reason for her to be mocked for it.
Nevertheless, many comments still contained shaming remarks, with some even criticizing her physique as "like an elementary school student's body," which angered some fans. Many believe that regardless of an artist's body type, it should never be a reason for netizens to mock them freely.

In fact, this is not the first time Jennie has faced online attacks regarding her body. Recently, her stage outfits also sparked similar body-shaming comments, leading fans to once again defend her. This latest incident, where she merely shared everyday photos but again faced magnified scrutiny of her appearance and body, has brought renewed attention to issues of cyberbullying and body discrimination.
