Actor Jeon So-min has been a regular host of the SBS variety show "Running Man" since April 2017, and her popularity has skyrocketed due to her bold and unpretentious performance in the show. However, she suddenly announced today that she will be leaving the show.

On the 23rd, Jeon So-min's agency, KINGKONG by STARSHIP, announced, "Jeon So-min will leave the SBS variety show 'Running Man' after the recording ends on October 30th (Monday)."

The agency then stated, "Because this is a long-term collaborative program, we've been grappling with it for some time. After extensive discussions with the members of 'Running Man,' the production team, and our company, in order to present a better image in future acting and other activities, we have decided to take a temporary break to recharge."

The agency also added, "We sincerely thank the viewers who have laughed and cried with Jeon So-min in 'Running Man' every weekend for over six years since April 2017. We hope that you will continue to give warm love and support to Jeon So-min in the future."
