Ji Ye-eun Reveals VATA's Romantic Proposal; 'Running Man' Cast Proposes Joining Honeymoon

South Korean actress Ji Ye-eun (지예은) and VATA (바타), leader of the renowned dance crew WE DEM BOYZ, are set to marry. Recently, Ji Ye-eun openly discussed her pre-wedding preparations on SBS's 'Running Man,' not only revealing her fiancé's meticulously planned romantic proposal but also hilariously agreeing to the cast's unexpected suggestion to join their honeymoon.

On the December 13 broadcast of 'Running Man,' Ji Ye-eun spoke about her upcoming December wedding. Amidst the cast's congratulations, she shared the sweet story of VATA's proposal.

She recounted returning home after a shoot to find her house transformed into a romantic scene, adorned with balloons and a path of candles. VATA then read her a heartfelt letter before proposing with a ring from luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co.

Ji Ye-eun recalled the moment, saying, "When I opened the door, I saw balloons and candles arranged in a path. I really thought he had hired an event company to decorate." Although she doesn't particularly seek grand proposal ceremonies, she was still surprised by the mint-green decorations. "The moment I saw the mint green, I was truly shocked. It was my first time seeing mint green decorations."

Overwhelmed by the surprise proposal, Ji Ye-eun burst into tears on the spot. "We hugged, and I cried. Afterwards, we even collected the balloons together." Her sweet and genuine reaction brought smiles to the faces of the cast members.

When the topic of their honeymoon came up, HAHA (하하) playfully asked Ji Ye-eun if they had decided on a destination. She admitted they hadn't yet. Kim Jong-kook (김종국) then suggested "Southern France," deeming it perfect for a honeymoon. Ji Seok-jin (지석진) believed that travel time was as important as the destination, asking Ji Ye-eun, "How much time can you set aside for the trip?" HAHA even shared his past experience filming MBC's 'Infinite Challenge,' suggesting they could film for about two days at the honeymoon location, gathering enough material for two weeks of broadcasts, and then leave the remaining time for Ji Ye-eun and VATA to enjoy alone. Ji Ye-eun immediately exclaimed excitedly, "Two weeks' worth of content? That would be amazing!" Ji Ye-eun and VATA, both born in 1994, met through religious activities and later developed a romantic relationship. They are scheduled to hold their wedding on December 12, officially entering married life.
