BTS member Jungkook (정국) and aespa member Winter (윈터) have recently sparked renewed dating rumors due to their social media activity. Korean media outlets discovered that both artists separately 'liked' the same Instagram post, leading to screenshots circulating widely online and once again linking them to long-running past rumors.
According to Korean media reports, a post has been circulating on international online communities showing that both Jungkook and Winter had liked the same Instagram photo. The post, published in July of this year, was captioned, "I dare say, this is the most beautiful moon photo on Earth," and featured a stunning image of a rainbow in the sky with the moon visible simultaneously.
Jungkook not only liked the post but also shared the photo on his own social media, adding a moon emoji. Later, it was discovered that Winter had also 'liked' the same post, reigniting netizens' interest in the coincidence.
As dating rumors between the two have persisted since late last year, even seemingly ordinary social media interactions are now being scrutinized by fans. Supporters of the pair believe their simultaneous 'like' on the same post could be another "love clue." However, many others argue that merely liking the same article is insufficient proof of a relationship.
In fact, Jungkook and Winter first drew attention in December of last year over suspicions of "couple tattoos." At the time, netizens noticed that both appeared to have dog-themed tattoos in similar positions on their arms, leading to speculation about matching ink.
Winter was previously photographed with three connected dog tattoos on the back of her arm, near her elbow. Netizens noted a similar style in Jungkook's arm tattoos, prompting discussions about whether they could be "couple tattoos."
Furthermore, fans have also compared various items the two have used or worn, including bracelets, shorts, and in-ear monitors, finding perceived similarities. Some even pointed out that both had manicures of similar colors on their ring fingers, just one day apart, leading to "couple manicure" theories.
In response to the ongoing dating rumors, both Jungkook's agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, and Winter's agency, SM Entertainment, have consistently stated that they "cannot confirm details regarding artists' private lives," neither confirming nor denying the reports.
