SUPER JUNIOR member Kim Hee-chul (김희철) recently appeared on a television program looking significantly slimmer. His features appeared more defined and his face noticeably smaller, prompting host Sung Si-kyung (성시경) to exclaim, "You've become prettier!" His striking visuals quickly became a trending topic.
On January 24, Kim Hee-chul joined fellow SUPER JUNIOR "83 Line" member Lee Teuk (이특), along with Ryeo Wook (려욱), John Park, Jung Joon-il, and fromis_9, for a performance on the KBS 2TV music program The Seasons – Sung Si-kyung's Ear-Muff Boyfriend.
During the show, Lee Teuk revealed that Kim Hee-chul had personally contacted the production team to secure SUPER JUNIOR's appearance. Sung Si-kyung responded with a laugh, "He's best at things like that; how could he not succeed?"

Kim Hee-chul explained that he had always wanted to appear on The Seasons, especially because Sung Si-kyung was the host, and he hoped to present his best self.
Sung Si-kyung immediately commented on Kim Hee-chul's noticeable change in appearance, joking, "I wondered if you dieted specifically to sing well." He then praised him generously, saying, "You've become prettier." Hearing the compliment from his friend, Kim Hee-chul shyly smiled, creating a warm atmosphere on set.

Kim Hee-chul also revealed that his weight loss method was significantly influenced by Sung Si-kyung. He stated, "I referenced a lot of your dieting methods, hyung." He then humorously added, "I also learned the importance of 'knowing when to stop' from Sung Si-kyung hyung. I used to push myself too hard and often ended up getting injured." His remark drew laughter from the entire set.

The two exchanged witty remarks throughout the program, showcasing their long-standing friendship and chemistry. Kim Hee-chul's more refined appearance after his successful weight loss immediately became a hot topic among netizens after the broadcast, with many exclaiming, "He's so thin, I almost didn't recognize him!"
Meanwhile, the SUPER JUNIOR sub-unit "SUPER JUNIOR-83," consisting of Lee Teuk and Kim Hee-chul, released their first mini-album, Promise, on the 13th of this month, officially commencing their promotional activities.
