Kim Na-ra (김나라), the champion of the Korean survival reality show “Kill It,” is preparing to marry her same-sex partner of eight years. She recently unveiled their wedding photos, which depict the two brides sweetly embracing and sharing a large veil, a touching display of their happiness. Na-ra also expressed her emotions, noting that with only 10 days until the wedding, their long-held dream of marriage is finally coming true, a revelation that has sparked considerable interest.
On Oct. 20, Na-ra shared several wedding photos on her personal social media, writing, “I really became a bride (My first bridal moment),” unable to hide her excitement about the upcoming marriage. She revealed that after eight years of dating, they finally decided to hold a wedding, and with only 10 days left until the big day, she feels both anticipation and deep emotion.
She also mentioned that after their wedding news became public, a brand offered to help them create a set of wedding photos, allowing them to capture their first official bridal portraits. Even though it rained heavily on the day of the shoot, they found the atmosphere uniquely romantic.
In the released photos, Na-ra appears with chic short blonde hair, wearing an off-the-shoulder pure white wedding gown paired with an elaborate veil, exuding an elegant yet distinctive aura. The form-fitting mermaid silhouette accentuates her figure, creating a look that is both classic and fashionable.
One photo, in particular, caught attention: Na-ra and her girlfriend, dressed in black, are seated side-by-side on a sofa, both draped in a large veil, smiling brightly at the camera. After eight years together, their wedding is finally approaching, and their sweet interactions convey the depth of their cherished relationship.

Na-ra also specifically shared her fondness for the wedding gown, describing the dress as elegant, luxurious, and classic. She was particularly pleased with the mermaid cut and the naturally flowing waistline. As for the large veil, she praised its dramatic size and exquisite embroidery and pearl details, expressing gratitude to the brand that provided the attire.
In fact, news of Na-ra’s impending marriage first gained attention in July of this year. At the time, she participated in the tvN survival reality show “Kill It!” and emerged as the final champion after intense competition. Following her victory, she specifically thanked her girlfriend for her unwavering support and publicly expressed her desire to marry on the show.
Na-ra emotionally stated then, “I am so grateful to my girlfriend; she has always been my best partner and my manager.” She candidly admitted that she had previously believed financial reasons were delaying their marriage, and now hoped to formally hold a wedding to take their relationship to the next stage.
After the show aired, the couple also shared sweet interactions on social media. Na-ra wrote, thanking her girlfriend, who is both her partner and life companion, for enduring all the hardships with her, and affectionately confessed, “You worked hard, I love you.” Her girlfriend responded, “You worked hard! Shall we book a wedding venue?” Na-ra playfully replied, “We need to find a place with lots of seats.” This exchange led many to anticipate their actual wedding.
Now, approximately three months after publicly expressing her wish to marry, the couple is finally approaching a significant moment in their lives. From being partners for eight years to preparing to walk down the aisle together, Na-ra is seeing the wish she made on the show gradually come true, receiving blessings from the public.
