SHINee member Minho (민호) recently appeared on the Korean variety show “Jeon Hyun Moo’s Plan 4,” where he not only showcased his impressive athletic abilities but also shared surprisingly candid thoughts on his dating philosophy and ideal type. His answers, which sharply contrasted with his usual image as an “exercise maniac,” surprised many viewers.
The September 11 broadcast of “Jeon Hyun Moo’s Plan 4” saw hosts Jeon Hyun-moo (전현무) and Kwaktube (곽튜브) join guest Minho on a healing food tour to Wanju, North Jeolla Province. Along the way, they sampled local delicacies ranging from soft tofu and duck meat grilled over a fist-sized charcoal to a full Jeolla-style set menu.
The trio visited a famous tofu restaurant in Wanju, where they indulged in various tofu dishes, including white tofu soup and spicy soft tofu stew. Minho was dubbed the “food partner” of the day. To welcome Minho, Jeon Hyun-moo spontaneously recreated the choreography for SHINee’s classic song “Lucifer.” Minho immediately stopped him, playfully remarking, “I hope Hyun-moo *hyung* doesn’t dance anymore.” The opening segment was filled with laughter.
En route to a renowned restaurant specializing in nutritious duck meat grilled over a fist-sized charcoal, the show revealed Minho’s unique workout habits. Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwaktube held an impromptu grip strength competition, which surprisingly ended in a tie. However, when Minho stepped in, he effortlessly overpowered both of them with just two hands, his incredible strength drawing laughter from everyone present.
Towards the end of their meal, Minho uncharacteristically opened up about his views on relationships. He expressed gratitude for being able to consistently perform on stage, stating, “I think it’s enough as long as I keep going.”
Jeon Hyun-moo praised Minho as a “friend without flaws,” but then shifted the conversation to dating, jokingly adding, “If I had to find one flaw, from a girlfriend’s perspective, he might be a bit much to handle.” Minho admitted, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a relationship.”
Kwaktube then lightheartedly hinted, “Shouldn’t Minho find someone who also works out hard?” Minho, however, smiled and gave an unexpected answer: “Actually, I prefer someone who doesn’t exercise, but she can’t take up my gym time.”

Minho’s “anti-exercise” ideal type revelation created a strong contrast with his usual image as someone passionate about sports and frequent gym visits, prompting laughter from the other guests.
