South Korean girl group miss A disbanded years ago, but a recent re-circulation of old photos from before their split has once again ignited online discussion. The images, showing the members together during their final active period, have brought the distance between Bae Suzy (배수지) and the other members into unexpected focus, reviving old online rumors of internal bullying within the group.
miss A was previously composed of Bae Suzy, Fei (페이), Jia (지아), and Min (민), officially disbanding in 2017. Recently, a series of photos from the group's final active period began circulating again on Korean online communities, showing all four members together in the same frame.
Upon close examination of the photos, some netizens noticed that Suzy's positioning and interactions with the other members seemed minimal. They suggested that the perceived distance in several of the photos brought to mind past online rumors of discord or even bullying within the group.
One netizen commented, "Looking at these photos, I think I can understand why those rumors circulated back then." Others focused on Suzy's visuals, exclaiming, "Suzy is truly beautiful."
Some also noted that based solely on her expressions and positioning in the photos, Suzy appeared "uncomfortable" at the time, drawing parallels to other photos that circulated from past Idol Star Athletics Championships.
Among the comments, some netizens suggested that Fei might have been the member who looked after Suzy the most, as the two were often seen standing together in past photos, leading to speculation that their private relationship might have been closer.
However, many other netizens argued that it is difficult to directly infer the relationships between members based solely on their positioning or expressions in group photos, and even less so to confirm bullying rumors.

This could naturally make it harder to form very close relationships.
