A bodyguard at K-pop boy group NCT 127's recent "NEO CITY – THE REDLINE" concert has unexpectedly become a hot topic. The reason isn't his security performance, but rather his appearance, which fans noticed bears a striking resemblance to Kim Min-gyu (김민규), a popular member of HYBE's boy group SEVENTEEN. Photos and videos of the bodyguard quickly went viral, igniting widespread discussion.
Recently, a video from an NCT 127 concert circulated widely on social media. In the clip, NCT 127 member Lee Dong-hyuck (이동혁), known as Haechan, was interacting with fans in the front row when a fan suddenly reached out and grabbed his arm. The nearby bodyguard immediately intervened, swiftly pulling the fan's hand away with a serious expression. His quick reaction in protecting the artist impressed many netizens.
However, within seconds, another unexpected focus emerged from the short video: fans began zooming in on the bodyguard's face, surprised to find that his features, hairstyle, and even overall aura were remarkably similar to Mingyu's. Screenshots quickly spread across the internet.
Many fans who saw the video couldn't help but comment, "Thank you, Mingyu, for protecting our Haechan," and "Is this really Mingyu?" Some even joked, "Mingyu's doppelgänger has been deployed."
