在之前的《歡迎來到NCT 宇宙》第9集中，SM ROOKIES的3人講述了從進入SM娛樂公司的契機，以及從SM ROOKIES中被選為出道組成員的全過程，松島正平、銀碩、勝漢將坦率的吐露經歷《SMTOWN》舞臺的感想和日常，以及出道作為藝人的抱負等。
出道前每天都在拼命練習的SM ROOKIES成員們，傳來了驚人的消息，也就是要與SM娛樂製作人李秀滿進行出道前面談。
1995年成立SM娛樂公司的李秀滿製作人是創造H.O.T.、S.E.S.、神話、寶兒、東方神起、少時、NCT等多位藝人，引領K-POP的K-POP之父， 在預想不到的面談，松島正平、銀碩、勝漢露出既激動又緊張的表情說：「會說什麼呢」、「有點緊張」、「緊張到好像說不出話了。」
