K-pop boy group NCT WISH (엔시티 위시) recently held a special performance at the popular Caribbean Bay water park, attracting a large number of fans. Some even queued overnight to secure the best viewing spots. However, after the event, a series of hygiene-related incidents reportedly emerged, sparking heated discussions online in Korea.

Many fans shared photos and videos of the performance, with one attendee noting that despite the hot weather, the atmosphere was lively as the idols and fans engaged in water gun fights and splashes.

Following the event, however, social media platforms were flooded with eyewitness accounts detailing several shocking incidents. One netizen claimed that during the event, someone vomited in Caribbean Bay's famous wave pool. Although staff quickly used nets to remove the waste, other visitors were reportedly forced to remain in the pool, leading the original poster to exclaim, "I almost threw up myself."

Another post alleged that a female fan experienced menstrual leakage, with blood visibly staining the back of her pants and flowing into the pool, yet she reportedly did not leave the area. The photo quickly sparked widespread discussion. The poster stated, "I was truly shocked to see the photo. Even though the menstrual blood had seeped out and was flowing into the water, she still didn't leave. No matter how much you want to see a male idol, this shouldn't be happening."

Even more shockingly, several netizens claimed that some individuals allegedly defecated directly in the pool. Many expressed their disgust, saying, "Someone actually pooped in Caribbean Bay. We're all swimming in poop water now."

These allegations quickly spread across Korean online communities, with many netizens criticizing what they perceived as a disregard for basic public hygiene and respect for other visitors by some fans, all in an effort to get closer to the stage and their idols.

This is not the first time Korean fan culture has faced such controversies. In 2024, reports emerged from a concert where some fans allegedly defecated in their seats to avoid leaving their spots to use the restroom, causing public outrage. It is important to note that these recent incidents primarily stem from eyewitness accounts and social media posts, and the claims have not yet been officially confirmed by the event organizers.
