Netflix CEO曝《魷魚遊戲2》劇本超驚人！大讚去年「這部韓綜」最有趣！

16日下午，Netflix CEO格雷格·彼特斯 (Greg Peters)到訪了位於首爾鍾路區的Netflix韓國公司大樓，與職員及韓國記者見面問候。
Greg Peters當天表示：「很高興來到這裡，韓國製作產業正在發展，全世界也對韓綜和韓劇非常感興趣。大家在2023年應該都看到了《格殺福順》、《黑暗榮耀》等韓劇引起了全世界的熱烈反響。到2024年《體能之巔：百人大挑戰》、《Sweet Home 2》和大家都期待的《魷魚遊戲2》也將會回歸。」
Greg Peters更透露：「據我所知，在場的很多人去過《魷魚遊戲2》的攝影棚。我還沒去過，所以對去那裡非常期待，我非常期待黃東赫導演為大家再次呈現的世界觀和遊戲。」
接著，韓媒又問到Greg Peters最喜歡的節目，Greg Peters大讚去年個人覺得最有趣的節目是《體能之巔：百人大挑戰》。
當天，他也分享了「今年最令人期待的Netflix節目」表示：「是《魷魚遊戲》第二季，第二季真的太不可思議了！劇本非常好，新的遊戲應該會很有趣，更刺激。」同時，對於第二季能否超過第一季的問題，他擺出了祈願幸運的手勢並笑著說：「希望如此」。
接著，對於「美國版魷魚遊戲翻拍的消息是否屬實」的問題，他回答說「這是謠言」，斷然否定了可能性。對於今後通過《魷魚遊戲》衍生的新版本內容時，Greg Peters也表示「韓國第一」，表示將集中於韓國內容。
另外，早於2023年2月，黃東赫導演已宣布《魷魚遊戲2》將於7月開拍，同時製作第二季與第三季，共13集。6月，Netflix公布演員名單除了李政宰外，李炳憲、魏嘏雋也確認回歸，並宣布任時完、姜河那、朴成焄以及梁東根參與演出，而曾於第一季客串的孔劉也將特別出演。
