According to ChosunBiz, Pulmuone's frozen gimbap entered the Chinese market last September and quickly gained popularity through word-of-mouth after being stocked in local hypermarkets. As a result, an average of 220,000 rolls are sold each month, recording cumulative sales of 10.4 billion won (KRW) and exceeding its initial targets.
