DARA opened up about the final active period of 2NE1 and expressed, "It's truly heart-wrenching because disbanding doesn't mean we are no longer 2NE1; the members have always carried this sentiment."
Although 2NE1 officially disbanded in 2016, the group made a surprising reunion on the stage of the American music festival, Coachella, last year. DARA expressed, "It was our first time performing together in 7 or 8 years.
