Seo Kang-joon's 'Robot-Like' Routine Shocks Yoo Jae-suk, Ahn Eun-jin

How disciplined is actor Seo Kang-joon (서강준) in his private life? Even Yoo Jae-suk (유재석) couldn't hide his astonishment after hearing about it. Seo and Ahn Eun-jin (안은진) recently appeared on the YouTube channel "DdeunDdeun" to promote their new drama, “The Love Story of the One Beside You,” which premiered last weekend. During the show, Seo's highly self-disciplined lifestyle was unexpectedly revealed, including his habit of eating the same salad from the same restaurant every day, having ordered it 150 consecutive times. This led guests to exclaim that he was "like a robot."

During the program, Yoo asked Seo, "Kang-joon, what do you like to do when you're alone?" Seo answered without hesitation, "Exercise." Ji Suk-jin (지석진) chimed in, praising, "Your physique is already very well-trained." Ahn then revealed that during their recent drama filming, she noticed Seo seemed to be "someone who lives very much by a fixed routine." Seo, however, looked puzzled, responding, "I didn't even know that myself? Do I have any fixed habits?"

Ahn then laughed and said, "Let me tell you about the Kang-joon I discovered during filming." Ji jokingly added, "You've awakened his life." Yoo also quipped, "So he himself is completely unaware." Ahn disclosed that Seo had many surprising habits, the most extreme of which was his "robot-like way of living."

She elaborated, "First, he uses a lot of exaggerated body language. Also, he's really like a robot. Every morning after waking up, he orders the exact same lunch from the same place." Ji immediately reacted with surprise, "Always lunch?" Seo then revealed the answer: "Only salad."

He explained that he has a particular favorite restaurant, so he consistently orders from there. Yoo pressed him, curious, "How many times exactly have you eaten it?" To everyone's surprise, Seo replied, "The number is recorded. It says 150 times." This figure stunned everyone present. Ahn pointed at him directly and declared, "That's just the kind of person he is."

Yoo also exclaimed, "If I like something, I'll eat it many times too, but 150 times?" Seo calmly stated, "It's hard to get tired of it." Yoo then asked, "But when you eat salad, don't you try other places if you find one you like? Or do you just stick to the same one?" Seo replied, "Even if I try others, I always come back to it."

Ahn also added, "And he seems like someone who doesn't miss a single day of exercise?" Yoo further confirmed, "Even if filming goes on very late, he still exercises?" Seo explained, "Unless it's really too late, I try to maintain it. I want to keep this habit." He also admitted that exercise is a way for him to relieve stress, saying, "I relieve a lot of stress through exercise."

Furthermore, Seo shared his daily routine when not filming: "When I'm not filming, I eat salad right after I wake up. I usually wake up around 12 PM and go to bed around 4 or 5 AM. After waking up at 11 or 12, I immediately order salad, shower while waiting for delivery, and then eat the salad when it arrives."

The salad he consistently eats was also revealed to be a "grilled pork neck salad." Yoo couldn't help but exclaim, "He is truly very strict." Ahn laughed as she described Seo, saying, "It's really scary; there are absolutely no gaps."
