Seo In-young (서인영) debuted in 2002 as a member of the girl group Jewelry before transitioning to a solo singing career and variety shows, consistently remaining a topic of discussion in the Korean entertainment industry. Her popularity soared when she appeared as a virtual couple with rapper Crown J on the variety show We Got Married. Recently, Seo In-young shared details of her past acquaintance with G-Dragon (권지용), the leader of BIGBANG, on her show. She revealed that they had met at a nightclub and had gatherings with other friends, unexpectedly exposing their private interactions. When asked about her impression of G-Dragon, she candidly praised him, saying, "He is a very upright person, truly excellent." Her comments have sparked curiosity about their past relationship.
On October 21, Seo In-young uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel, "New Cinderella Seo In-young." In the video, she discussed her recently dyed pink hair and, during a conversation with staff, brought up her past with G-Dragon.
In the video, as Seo In-young explained the fading of her hair color, a staff member mentioned that G-Dragon had also dyed his hair pink in the past. To avoid any misunderstanding that she was imitating him, Seo In-young immediately clarified, "I didn't dye it because of GD!" She then revealed her plans to re-dye her hair.
The staff then curiously asked if she knew G-Dragon and if they were close privately. Seo In-young admitted, "We've chatted, and we've hung out together." As for where they met, she openly revealed that the location was a nightclub.
Seo In-young further explained that she was contacted through a Japanese friend who was close with G-Dragon, and then she went to the venue to gather with G-Dragon and other friends. When asked what they drank that night, she laughed and recalled, "We drank beer."
In addition to sharing their past nightclub encounters, Seo In-young also mentioned that she still remembers G-Dragon arriving in a nice car and that his character left a deep impression on her.
