The contract renewal news for popular K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN has been officially confirmed! PLEDIS Entertainment released an official statement on July 13th, announcing that all 13 members of SEVENTEEN have renewed their contracts with the company, extending their partnership. This echoes the contract renewal news they publicly mentioned at their 10th-anniversary fan meeting in April this year.

PLEDIS Announces Second Contract Renewal for All 13 Members

In their statement, PLEDIS announced that SEVENTEEN members S.COUPS, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino have all agreed to a second contract renewal with PLEDIS Entertainment. The company also expressed its delight in announcing that they will continue to journey with all 13 members.

Regarding the renewal process, PLEDIS explained that the renewal procedures for members not currently fulfilling military service obligations have been completed; the remaining members will complete their procedures according to their respective military service conditions.

10 Years of Global Achievements; Company Pledges Full Support

PLEDIS reflected that since their debut in 2015, SEVENTEEN has established a unique musical identity through their 'self-producing' model. After their early contract renewal in 2021, they achieved a series of significant milestones on the global stage, setting unprecedented records and numerous K-pop firsts, growing into artists the company describes as 'to be written into history'.

The statement also mentioned that SEVENTEEN's strong teamwork and fearless attitude towards new challenges have inspired not only the company but also junior artists. PLEDIS stated that SEVENTEEN does not easily promise 'forever,' but rather demonstrates their commitment to this promise daily through passion and effort, and it is the company's honor to embark on a new chapter together.
