On July 10th, rumors of a romantic relationship between Soyou and trot singer Lim Young-woong sparked intense discussions. Photos circulated on Instagram by Korean netizens fueled speculations about their potential dating, and the informant clarified the situation to local media outlets.

The whistleblower alleged, "There is a specialty aged meat restaurant on Jeju Island, and the restaurant staff individually shared certification photos of SoYou and Lim Young-woong on Instagram. These photos were all taken on the same day."

The whistleblower further stated, "Fans left numerous comments under the photo, engaging in discussions about whether or not they were together at the restaurant. However, Soyou's photo was eventually removed, and the restaurant asserted that the photos featured different groups."

The whistleblower speculated, "If Lim Young-woong and Soyou are not in a relationship, the restaurant would have no motive to alter their statement or delete the photo."
