Netflix apologizes for causing inconvenience during Squid Game 2 filming
Squid Game 2 was embroiled in controversy from the start of filming.

On the 10th of July, a netizen who was in Incheon Airport posted an article online claiming that the staff of Squid Game 2 stopped people trying to use the escalator and told them off in an unpleasant, commanding tone.
In response, online streaming platform Netflix told MK Sports that it had tried its best to provide detailed information about the situation at the site, but that it apologized for any inconvenience caused.

The streaming giant also said that it would be more careful in the filming process in the future.
This is not the first time that Squid Game and Netflix have been embroiled in controversy. In February, Netflix was criticized for the "inhumane" conditions that contestants were reportedly subjected to while filming the spin-off reality show “Squid Game: The Challenge.”
Meanwhile, Squid Game 2 has announced the recasting of Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Gun, and Wi Ha Joon, who were active in Season 1. New cast members also joined the Squid Game Season 2 including Im Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Yang Dong Geun, Lee Jin Wook, Park Gyu Young, Jo Yu Ri, Won Jian, and Top (Choi Seung Hyun).

The controversy surrounding Squid Game 2 is a reminder of the challenges that come with filming a popular show in a public space. While Netflix has apologized for the inconvenience it caused, it remains to be seen how the controversy will impact the show's popularity.
