BTS's SUGA Embroiled in Dating Rumors with Actress Go Ara, Online 'Evidence' Fuels Speculation
BTS member SUGA has recently become the subject of dating rumors, with the alleged partner being well-known Korean actress Go Ara (고아라). Online, 'evidence' supposedly indicating a relationship between the two has gone viral, with comparisons drawn from Instagram posts, outfits, and even filming locations. The discussions have spread rapidly, reaching X (formerly Twitter) and attracting significant attention from fans.
BTS members are frequently at the center of dating speculation, and this time, SUGA and Go Ara have been linked.
Recently, a video circulating online has been presented by netizens as 'proof' that the two are dating. Some users meticulously compared their Instagram posts, claiming they shared photos from similar locations or related content on the same day. Even their outfits were scrutinized for potential matches.
These claims subsequently sparked heated discussions on Threads, with some netizens moving the conversation to X, posting directly under the title "SUGA and Go Ara are dating," which drew even more people into the debate.
One netizen shared screenshots of their Instagram posts, asking, "Go Ara and Min Yoon-gi (민윤기) posted on Instagram on the same day, what do you think?" However, many fans have refuted these dating rumors, arguing that netizens are over-interpreting mere coincidences.
Other netizens meticulously compared the environments in the photos, pointing out significant discrepancies in the alleged 'same-location evidence.' One user noted that the weather in Go Ara's photo was clearly overcast, while the sky in SUGA's photo was completely clear. Furthermore, the church bell tower in Go Ara's photo was covered with scaffolding and protective netting at the time, whereas the renovation progress of the bell tower in SUGA's photo appeared distinctly different, making it difficult to prove they were taken at the same time.
