[Trainee Tales] Super Junior's Heechul Reveals He Was Scouted by a Host Bar
Super Junior member Heechul recently reminisced about his pre-debut trainee days on a show, unexpectedly revealing that he once received a "golden business card" near the Cheongdam intersection. It wasn't until he got home that he realized it was from a host bar, much to the surprise of everyone on set.

Leeteuk and Heechul on 'ZIP DAESUNG' Share Pre-Debut Memories
The latest episode of 'ZIP DAESUNG,' hosted by BIGBANG's Daesung, was released on July 17th, featuring Super Junior members Leeteuk and Heechul as guests, where they discussed their pre-debut experiences. Leeteuk recalled his trainee days, saying, "Heechul and I were very close. When we went to clubs, he always asked me to go with him."

Heechul then recounted the situation, revealing, "Near the Cheongdam intersection, someone rolled down their car window and handed me a golden business card, saying, 'Contact me when you're free.' But the card didn't have a store name on it."
He added that it wasn't until he got home that he realized it was actually a business card for a host bar, which surprised everyone on set.
One Remark Left a Deep Impression on Both
Leeteuk also clearly remembered what the person said at the time. He stated, "They had a way of attracting us. They said, 'If you work here, you can buy an entire building.' So Heechul and I even joked that if we didn't debut, we'd team up and go there."

Heechul also joked, "If I hadn't debuted and had gone down that path, I might be richer than I am now." This unexpected pre-debut incident became an attention-grabbing topic on the show.
