MBLAQ's Thunder expressed his feelings about announcing his marriage to Mimi, a former member of the girl group Gugudan. Thunder said, “Mimi and I had a firm idea of marriage, so we revealed our relationship at KBS2's Second House 2.”

The date of their wedding is still undecided. “We both want to have a wedding next year, but we haven't decided on the date yet before the meeting,” Thunder said.

“Thank you for your warm attention and support despite the sudden news. Please watch 'Second House 2' for more information about us,” he added.

Earlier, Thunder and Mimi made a surprise appearance in the trailer for the 20th episode released at the end of the 'Second House 2' broadcast on the 13th. After the broadcast of Second House 2, Thunder and Mimi posted a handwritten letter on their own Instagram accounts and said they promised their lives. Thunder wrote, “I've decided to go public with my relationship with Mimi through Second House. At first, I lack courage and was worried, but I found the courage to do it for the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

In the end, Thunder added, “Mimi who became my reason for living.. I love you and Thank you.” Meanwhile, Mimi wrote “I'm sure my fans were surprised by the news, so I decided to write a handwritten letter from my heart. I have found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, someone who will always be there for me, someone who will give me strength during hard times, and someone who will inspire me to grow and become better.”

Both have asked for their fans' support in the future. Gugudan members left a comment on Mimi's post. Fans and Netizens are happy about the news and rooting for them.
