The relationship between former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun, 최승현, 38) and actress Nana (Im Jin-ah, 임진아, 35) has been officially confirmed. Korean media outlet Dispatch first reported their dating, sparking significant public interest. Both agencies have since swiftly acknowledged the relationship, confirming the two are indeed dating. Unexpectedly, Han Seo-hee (한서희), who was previously involved in a marijuana controversy with T.O.P, was also asked about the couple's relationship and offered a brief response.
Dispatch initially revealed that Choi and Im first met in January while collaborating on a music video. They reportedly grew closer and began dating around June. Their relationship blossomed during the filming of the music video for "Completely Insane!" (완전 미쳤어!), the title track from T.O.P's first solo full-length album, Multi-Perspective (다중관점). Im was invited by T.O.P to star as the female lead, which marked the beginning of their connection.

In April, Im also appeared in T.O.P's YouTube content. During the segment, she asked Choi why he chose her to be the female lead in his music video. Choi explained that while creating the song, he envisioned a "mysterious female image that couldn't be defined by a specific era," and in his eyes, "Nana was the perfect fit for this role." What began as a single music video collaboration unexpectedly became the catalyst for their relationship.
Dispatch previously released photos of the couple on a date near Im's home, reporting that despite their busy schedules, they made time to meet and continue dating. Following the news of their relationship, fans re-examined their intimate interactions during the music video collaboration, reigniting discussions online.
As the relationship came to light, T.O.P's agency, TOPSPOT PICTURES, officially confirmed their bond, stating, "The two first met while filming a music video, gradually grew closer, and developed into a couple around June of this year."
Nana's agency, Sublime, also confirmed the relationship, saying, "The two met through a music video shoot and are currently dating in a good relationship."
After both agencies officially confirmed the relationship, Im addressed the news for the first time via a fan communication platform, telling her fans, "You must be surprised, and I'm a little shy myself. We will date well and healthily." Her sweet response allowed fans to officially receive the happy news of their romance.
On the same day T.O.P and Nana officially announced their relationship, Han Seo-hee, who was previously involved in a controversy with T.O.P, unexpectedly drew attention from netizens.
Han held a Q&A session on her personal social media that day, and a fan directly asked, "I heard T.O.P and Nana are dating?" In response, Han offered no further comment, simply replying, "Please be happy!"

However, it was the background image she used for her brief reply that garnered more attention from netizens. Han used a screenshot of a subscription related to Lee Kwang-soo (이광수), who has recently been in the spotlight for his use of a fan communication platform, as the background for her answer. This led many netizens to speculate whether her action had an ulterior motive.
Separately, Han was previously embroiled in a drug-related controversy with T.O.P. in 2016. She was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for four years, for allegedly smoking marijuana and LSD with T.O.P. Since then, she has been involved in multiple drug-related incidents that have sparked controversy.
Now that T.O.P has officially confirmed his relationship with Nana, Han, who was previously involved in a controversy with him, was asked about the romance and simply responded with "Please be happy!" This unexpected reaction once again put her in the spotlight.
