TWICE's Chaeyoung, Zion.T Reportedly End Two-Year Relationship
Son Chae-young (채영), 27, a member of K-pop girl group TWICE, and singer-producer Kim Hae-sol (Zion.T), 37, have reportedly broken up. After more than two years of publicly acknowledging their relationship, the couple recently ended their romantic ties and will now maintain a senior-junior professional relationship within the entertainment industry.
According to a report by South Korean media outlet JTBC Entertainment News, an industry insider revealed on August 14 that Chaeyoung and Zion.T "recently concluded their romantic relationship and have returned to being senior and junior colleagues in the entertainment industry." The source indicated that their busy work schedules led to prolonged periods apart, causing their relationship to naturally drift apart and ultimately end.

In response to the reports, both Chaeyoung's and Zion.T's agencies stated, "As it is the artist's private life, it is difficult to confirm."
Chaeyoung and Zion.T first confirmed their relationship in April 2024, with both sides acknowledging they were dating and "had good feelings for each other and were going on dates," officially publicizing their 10-year age gap romance. It is understood that the two were initially introduced by a mutual friend and gradually developed their relationship through casual dates.
The news of their breakup, coming approximately two years and four months after they went public, has left many fans feeling regretful.
Notably, Chaeyoung recently announced significant career changes. On August 13, she revealed her intention to continue creating music within her own "LIL FANTASY" world, signaling the start of her solo music career. After 14 years with JYP Entertainment since her debut, she decided to leave the agency to pursue solo activities, though her group activities with TWICE will continue.
