JYP娛樂於9/5證實了他們以英文「MISAMO」註冊了商標一事實。

JYP娛樂註冊的商標共有五個類別，分別為CD、DVD與其他數位記錄媒體、貴金屬及手錶、演藝娛樂業、廣告業、通信業等。

對此，朴秀助(音譯)專業代理人表示：「從JYP方面在韓國申請專利來看，三人在韓國出道的可能性很高。」「JYP方面為了搶先佔領名稱而進行登記。」

朴專業代理人另外補充：「特別是從第14項（貴金屬與手錶）來看，可能會推出寫有【MISAMO】字樣的飾品。」
