Choi Ye-na's 'No-Skin' Waterbomb Outfit Goes Viral, Praised as 'Super Sexy' by Korean Netizens
Waterbomb, South Korea's signature summer music festival, is held annually, captivating audiences not only with its intense water battles but also with artists' stage outfits. These looks often become a hot topic, even coining terms like 'Waterbomb Goddess' and 'Waterbomb God.' In the past, artists such as HyunA, Sunmi, Chungha, BLACKPINK members, and Kwon Eun-bi (권은비) have all sparked heated discussions with their sexy performances.
However, Choi Ye-na (최예나), a former member of the project girl group IZ*ONE and now a solo artist, took a different approach at this year's Waterbomb. Instead of embracing the festival's typical sexy aesthetic, she chose a 'no-skin' outfit, unexpectedly becoming the center of attention.
Choi Ye-na appeared at 'Waterbomb Busan 2026' on August 8, engaging with the audience on stage. Behind-the-scenes footage released by organizers shows her full of energy even before her performance, interacting with the crowd using a water gun, creating an incredibly lively atmosphere.
Her stage outfit was undoubtedly the most eye-catching element of the day. Unlike the common bikinis, crop tops, and shorts typically seen at Waterbomb, Choi Ye-na went against the grain, donning a form-fitting white jumpsuit that covered her from neck to ankle, revealing almost no skin.
A closer look reveals blue and pink lines incorporated into the white jumpsuit, extending along her figure, creating a futuristic, almost racing suit-like aesthetic. She completed the look with white gloves, pink goggles-style sunglasses, and a high ponytail, making her overall appearance resemble a character straight out of a video game or anime, with incredibly high recognition.
