Yoo Jae Suk has invested 3 billion and now holds the position of the third largest shareholder in Antenna!

According to reports from South Korean media on the 26th, Yoo Jae Suk has invested 3 billion Korean won and now holds the position of the third largest shareholder in his company, Antenna.

Antenna, originally focused on music production, has also ventured into the variety show industry. Yoo Jae Suk took the lead in proposing the investment to help expand this business.

According to reports, it is understood that on the 9th of this month, Yoo Jae Suk purchased 2,699 shares (20.7% ownership) of Antenna, a subsidiary of KAKAO Entertainment, for 3 billion Korean won. Howe Yoo Jae Suk is not directly involved in the management of Antenna, and his investment has not been publicly disclosed.

As previously reported, Yoo Hee-yeol also acquired shares of Antenna on the same day as Yoo Jae Suk. Yoo Hee-yeol invested 3.2 billion Korean won, holding a 21.37% ownership stake, and became the second largest shareholder of Antenna.

According to reports, Yoo Hee-yeol and Yoo Jae Suk had extensive discussions before expressing their desire to acquire shares of the company from KAKAO Entertainment. After becoming shareholders, Yoo Jae Suk actively participated in variety show-related content in his area of expertise and dedicated significant efforts to nurturing younger talents.

Furthermore, as early as 2020, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned his interest in purchasing shares of Antenna during his appearance on the show "Hangout with Yoo" In March of this year, when he appeared on Song Eun-yi's YouTube program, he expressed his confidence in the company's future development.

During that episode, a viewer asked, "I'm new to the stock market. Do you recommend buying Antenna shares?" Yoo Jae Suk responded, "Currently, it is not publicly listed, but if it becomes available, I think it would be a good investment."
