South Korean "Nation's MC" Yu Jae-seok (유재석) and his wife, former announcer Na Gyeong-eun (나경은), have been married for years, keeping their private life largely out of the spotlight. However, in a recent broadcast, Yu discussed introverted dating styles, showing strong agreement with one particular method, exclaiming, "I can relate so much!" He even confessed that when he liked someone, he wouldn't express it directly but would silently pray for the relationship to develop smoothly, which drew laughter from the set.

SBS variety show "Running Man" released a preview for its latest episode on the 17th, titled "Extremely Introverted People Assemble! Super I-Type Flirting Methods." In the episode, the cast members challenged themselves to guess the ranking of ways introverts express affection. From being afraid to directly confess to subtly observing their crush, the various behaviors sparked lively discussion among everyone.
First, Ji Seok-jin (지석진) correctly guessed the second-ranked method: "constantly liking posts on social media." Next, Yu Jae-seok, whose MBTI type is ISFP, showed surprising intuition by accurately guessing the top-ranked answer: "always lingering near the other person, staying at a distance where they can be seen but not too obviously." This subtle presence, rather than direct confession, seemed to align more with an introvert's approach.

The production team then revealed other answers, including "being kind and polite to restaurant staff." Yu Jae-seok immediately reacted with excitement, saying, "I can relate so much! Really, so much!" He added that this flirting method is very indirect, perfectly reflecting an introvert's reluctance to openly express their feelings.
Even more interestingly, Yu Jae-seok then shouted, "Pray for us to develop smoothly!" This turned out to be the correct answer for the third-ranked method. He seemed to deeply resonate with the feeling of introverts who are afraid to make the first move and can only silently wish for a good outcome in their relationships, correctly answering several questions in a row. He proudly stated, "As expected of an introvert, extroverts can't guess these kinds of questions!"

Haha (하하), standing nearby, looked incredulous and couldn't help but quip, "Isn't living like that stifling?" which sent the set into fits of laughter. Compared to extroverts who are accustomed to directly expressing their feelings, introverts often prefer to silently observe their crush, sometimes even hiding their affection, which Haha found difficult to understand.
Later, Ji Seok-jin guessed the fourth-ranked method: "dressing up nicely." Yu Jae-seok then added, "That's how introverts are; they absolutely cannot show it directly!" His series of remarks not only revealed his deep understanding of introverts' romantic psychology but also brought the show's atmosphere to a peak.
Yu Jae-seok and his wife, Na Gyeong-eun (a former MBC announcer), actually met through the MBC variety show "Infinite Challenge." They began dating in August 2006, keeping their relationship very private. In 2008, they tied the knot and now have a son and a daughter. His recent discussion of introverts' dating strategies on the show unexpectedly sparked curiosity among netizens: did he personally experience these seemingly passive flirting techniques?
